Opportunites to Serve

Due to the confidential nature of our department, we require that individuals complete a Volunteer Application, be a Covenant Member of The Village, pass a background check and be personally interviewed to be considered as a volunteer.

Counter Team

Purpose: collects, safeguards and accurately records and reports the receipts of the church. The Counter Team is responsible to collect and protect the receipts after each worship service. This team counts the receipts and assists in the annual distribution of the contribution statements. Members of this team must demonstrate financial aptitude. Spiritual gifts include administration. Team members must also be confidential, ethical and honest. We ask that members of this team commit to one year of service. In no instance, shall more than one family member serve on this team.

Finance Office Volunteer

Purpose: processes accurate and timely financial records of the church. Duties include filing, sorting, scanning and other tasks to ensure the accurate recordkeeping of the financial documents of the church. Members of this team should demonstrate financial aptitude along with effective oral and written communication skills. Spiritual gifts include administration and service. Team members must also be confidential, ethical and honest. We ask that members of this team commit to one year of service. In no instance, shall more than one family member serve on this team.
