Village Middle School Students

Crave

Crave is our weekly gathering for students in 6th - 12th grade. It's a time to get to know other students and worship the Lord through live music and Bible study. During Crave, students sit at tables specific to their grade and gender with our volunteers who facilitate group discussion.

When?

Sundays at 11 a.m.

Where?

Room 302 of the Next Generation Building.

What To Expect

As you enter Room 302 with your middle schooler, you'll be greeted by one of our volunteers at the welcome desk. Your student will be asked to fill out a Crave guest card. Once the card is completed and we've answered any questions you may have, you're free to stay and observe or leave to attend a church service. From the welcome desk, your student will be led to a table group of his or her peers and connected with one of our leaders. Our leaders do a wonderful job of engaging our middle schoolers and making them feel welcomed and loved.

During Crash, your student will participate in:

  • Community — through a group game or activity
  • Worship — through music, singing and dancing
  • Bible study — through teaching and discussion facilitated by their group leader

Your student is sent home with our Weekly What's Up to keep you in the know and provide you with points of discussion to begin dialogue with your student about their experience. On it you'll find important Student Ministry dates, events and announcements and a section that outlines what was taught at Crave along with the questions your student wrestled with.
